Running alongside you

Interim leadership and consulting for organizations in the midst of something big

LendyKrantz-BG-Gradient.png

A reorg. A major transformation. A period of growth outpacing its systems. The moments when complexity is high, the stakes are real, and getting it right makes a difference for teams across the board.

I partner with leaders at critical moments – helping organizations align what's fragmented, untangle what seems unsolvable, and build the structures that make change sustainable.

“I’ve had the privilege of working with Lendy on several transformation projects over the years. Lendy is someone I go back to whenever I am working on transformational work or scaling. She has an incredible ability to see complex problems, simplify them, and find scalable solutions. By doing this, she can help any organization find ways to be more efficient and effective and scale toward their future growth plans.”

When leaders know they need me

Teams are doing important work, but lack a shared language or communication structure that makes work visible to each other and the broader organization

AI and other new technologies are changing how work gets done, and the organizational structures to match aren’t in place

The organization has grown through acquisitions, and the cultures, systems, and ways of working haven't fully integrated

There's been a leadership change, and the team is mid-stride with existing priorities and tensions that need to be assessed, reset, and redirected in a way that improves the positioning of the team in the organization

If any of this sounds familiar,
let’s hop on a call and talk more.

  • I start by getting clear on the organization's vision. That means bringing the right people together to map what scenarios to account for and how we’ll respond to change as it emerges.

  • I work with the team to understand partners and their interests (both internal and external) and create a map of how work connects across them. We define how the relationships will cultivate the kind of shared success that matrixed, disparate organizations need

  • A vision is only as good as what’s built to support it. I work with the team to define goals, clarify roles, and create the management systems, communication channels, and workflows – human, technological, and everything in between – that make it all real.

  • The right materials change how people work together and create shared understanding. I work with the team to build everyday templates and tools, reporting that keeps teams aligned, and board-level presentations that tell the whole story.

My Approach

Good organizational structures are both intentional and organic. I draw on management science, communications design, ethnography, and design thinking in my work with each client.

“Whether you are facing complex real estate issues or even more complex organizational challenges, Lendy makes the ideal partner. Working with her has enabled leading organizations to work more coherently, intentionally, and durably. She faces each engagement with the ideal balance of new perspectives and calibrated expertise. And, she does it with style and humor.”

Three ways to work together

6+ Months

Embedded Partnership

The deepest way to work together. I join the team – part-time or full-time – working alongside leaders to build structure, develop habits, and create real change.

DAys to weeks

Strategic
Sprint

A short, intensive project to move important work forward. A planning session, a leadership offsite, a one-on-one deep dive to prepare for the months ahead. A great starting point for leaders who need focused progress on something specific.

Scoped deliverable

Defined
Engagement

A specific asset, such as a strategy, a framework, or a board presentation with a clear scope and a horizon. For leaders who know exactly what they need and want steady hands on it.

I often work with Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Human Resources, and Procurement teams – strategic drivers of the organization’s connective tissue. When a major transformation is underway, and the pieces need to come together, I get the call. The result is organizations that move faster, spend smarter, and hold together better under pressure.

“Lendy cultivates stronger teams through her attention to individual needs and group dynamics. She brings expert insight and unworldly calm to the tense interpersonal moments that derail the best of leaders. Walking the tightrope between process and people, she builds organizational structures that feel thoughtful, considerate, and human.”

Collaboration isn’t a soft skill. It’s a discipline – one that all of us can hone.

About me

As a result, I approach collaboration as a lived experience. I see how daily habits, a shared vision of where we are going, and being mindful of both the moment and the bigger picture make organizations resilient, stable, and sustainable.
Today, I work alongside leaders navigating critical moments — pairing what I learned early with the best tools and methods to help organizations align teams, adapt to new technologies, and build something sustainable.

For over 15 years, I've built operational structures for some of the world's most complex organizations – from unicorns to F500 companies.

I’ve worked on everything from digital transformations, workplace redesigns, and employee upskilling programs to centralizing core functions that save organizations millions. What’s consistent across them all is my approach – I draw on multiple disciplines at once, holding the tension between what’s needed now and what’s needed next, between the complexity of the situation and the need for simplicity.

I grew up in a small town in Vermont, where I learned that structure is everything. A volunteer fire department only exists because people come together and build it. A benefit dinner only happens because people plan it, organize it, and show up to it. In places where interdependence is built into the social fabric, everyone learns to lead, to follow, to put together a team, and respond to change.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I work with companies with a lot of internal complexity. Some have grown through several acquisitions and have a blend of different cultures and systems. Others have grown through rapid scaling, and now things are starting to break. For all of them, tech is a core part of their product, be that fintech, real estate tech, or beauty tech.

Small or early-stage companies don’t typically need the level of service I provide, but I’m always happy to talk.

  • Usually between 12 and 18 months — that's typically how long meaningful change takes. It varies depending on the scope and complexity of the work.

  • Let's hop on a call or go for a walk to talk more. I love really getting to know people, so learning about where things are, what's going on, and what matters most is key to that first conversation.

  • After an initial discovery and kickoff, I join and run meetings, facilitate workshops, and produce reports, presentations, and other materials. I also work with teams to build a body of organizational assets in a shared knowledge base.

“You have a house, but you do not have a basement. Lendy helps you build the basement, so you can build multiple stories. She holds the pieces so you can keep building.”
